Eat More Butter – Have Sex Often


We have 2 very important rules in our house…

have sex as often as possible.

put butter on everything.

Both butter and sex are typically a multiple-times-daily occurrence for us.  This makes me wonder if there is a correlation.  Allow me to explore this further.

Balanced hormones = Sexy time!

Saturated fat is essential for hormone production and balance so if you or your lady are on the low-fat train and are suffering from libidinous lulls, add more butter!

Avoids fats like vegetable oil, peanut oil, canola oil, soybean oil, margarine, shortening or other chemically altered fats. Our bodies are not biologically meant to consume and utilize these.  Choose fats like coconut oil, real butter, olive oil (don’t heat!) and animal fats (tallow, lard) from healthy sources instead and eat lots of high Omega-3 fish.

Now you ask: Won’t eating all that fat make me fat? No. Fat does not make you fat.  As a culture, we have virtually eliminated fat from our diets, created a plethora of fat free options and guess what? We are still fat.

Both Ludwig and I consume full fat yogurt, fatty cuts of organic meat, and tonnes of butter on a regular (almost daily) basis.  Our bodies are tall, strong, lean and with soft skin.

Here are some things you should worry about making you fat: too much sugar, too much processed foods, not enough sleep, and stress.  (also major libido killers)

Fat free = old news

Nutritional Density = most pleasurable, healthiest way to a lean, sexy, efficiently functioning bod.

Why else should you eat butter all the time?  Saturated fats are essential for brain function.  (Fat free and foggy memory anyone?)  Good quality, organic, grass fed butter is pretty easy to come by these days.  It makes everything taste good.  Baking cookies? Add butter instead of oil.  Green veggies? Add butter.  Frying eggs? Fry them in butter (and green onions)

Eating and Fucking


Eating and Sex are gloriously all-encompassing if you pay enough attention.  They are acts that we experience with all five senses.  They are ways to get to know ourselves on very interesting levels as no two people are the same.  What we eat and how we fuck have the potential to be exquisitely beautiful expressions of who we are.

Both eating and fucking have astoundingly interesting cultural influence.  How do other people in other places eat?  How do they make love and why?  Beliefs and practices when it comes to sex and food are some of the most deeply personal and individual ways to relate to ourselves and others.  If you meet one (or many) who share your values when it comes to sex and food, it can provide inspiration for profound human connection.

Sex creates life and food fuels it, but how about looking at sex not just for procreation? And how about looking at food beyond it’s capacity to fuel?  This is one my most passionate life endeavours.  I am fascinated by the observation of my body and my partner’s body and how they relate to the foods we enjoy and the ways we physically connect (or disconnect).  It is an entire lifetime of learning, ever changing.  Fortunate, we are.
